Day 1 Flight to Paris

This blog is dedicated to Darren, my lover and friend. Without him, this trip never would have happened, and with him, it's a blast!

We flew out of LA on Delta. The flight attendants are all cool, effete, courteous and classy. Some are just tired. For a 14-hour flight, this was the easiest ever, and I must admit that doing it in coach would have sucked much worser. They gave us a glass of champagne... and a gift pack with grippy socks!

We pretty much landed, checked into our simple apartment in the swank 1st arrondisemente, walked around to orient ourselves, had dinner and went to sleep. Woke up at 3a. 1st day in Paris!!!!!
